Ella

Owner & Tattoo Artist

Realism • Animal Portraits • Mandala • Ornamental • SMP

For Ella, tattooing was never really a career choice. It was something she knew she wanted to do from a young age.

Growing up, she was constantly drawing with her dad and later went on to study art, but tattooing was always the goal. On her 18th birthday, while most people would have been heading out for their first legal drink, Ella had other plans. Her dad drove her around tattoo studios looking for an apprenticeship so she could finally get her foot in the door.

Fifteen years later, Ella is an experienced tattoo artist and the owner of Limitless Tattoo Studio.

Her work is heavily influenced by wildlife, nature and travel. She specialises in realism, particularly animal and human portraits and florals, as well as mandala, geometric and ornamental work. Animal portraits and detailed geometric pieces are particular favourites, and she’d love to take on more large-scale animal work especially anything involving wildlife, sharks or dinosaurs.

One of the things Ella loves most about tattooing is watching something that started as an idea or drawing come to life on someone’s skin, and seeing how happy people are with the finished piece. Even after 15 years, she still gets a buzz from unexpectedly spotting one of her tattoos out in the wild.

Ella is also known for being calm, reassuring and taking the time to explain everything properly, particularly with first-time clients or anyone feeling nervous. She is especially good at making neurodivergent clients feel comfortable and creating an experience that feels relaxed and welcoming.

Alongside tattooing, Ella is also trained in Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP).

Outside the studio you’ll usually find her doing Krav Maga, gardening, spending time with her family and animals although more often than not she’s still drawing or working. She’s also slightly obsessed with shark documentaries and survival shows.
