Gen Kenny

Gen’s journey at Limitless started on the other side of the needle as one of Ella’s clients. Having always wanted to tattoo herself, when the opportunity came to turn that ambition into a career, she jumped at it, with Ella and Sam taking her on as an apprentice.

Now approaching three years into her tattoo journey and preparing to step up to Junior Artist, Gen has been building her skills across a wide variety of styles. More recently, she’s been exploring colour and black & grey realism, while developing a real love for anime, cartoon and bold colour pieces styles she’d love to do even more of.

Gen takes inspiration from everywhere: other tattoo artists, wildlife, music, gaming, TV and anything else that sparks an idea.

She’s also passionate about making people feel comfortable in the chair. Gen has already looked after many first-time clients of all ages, creating the relaxed, friendly experience that Limitless is known for and plenty have since returned for their next tattoo.

For Gen, tattooing is a creative outlet shared between artist and client. Seeing someone leave the studio genuinely excited about a piece she’s created is one of the things she loves most about the job.

Outside the studio, you’ll usually find her at a gig, gaming, spending time with her partner, friends and family, or hanging out with her animals.

With her move to Junior Artist on the horizon and conventions and guest spots firmly in her sights Gen is excited for the next stage of her tattooing career.
